Board Vacancy

BOARD VACANCY Community Futures is a national program managed by regional not-for-profit corporations that provide support to rural small businesses thru counseling, training and lending services. Additionally, the Community Futures program provides support and leadership for community economic development projects.

CFCR’s service region encompasses Leduc County, Brazeau County and Parkland County and all the municipalities within these areas.

CFCR is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who represents the communities throughout the region. Board meetings are held on a monthly basis at our office in Stony Plain.

The Opportunity:

CFCR is seeking applications for new Board of Director Member representing:

  •  Parkland County and the municipalities within 
  • Leduc County and the municipalities within

Individuals wishing to volunteer skills and knowledge & who possess a strong commitment to community development with an entrepreneurial background are encouraged to apply.

Position to begin June 2015.
